~Urska & Primoz~
WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY SLOVENIJA

Location: Hotel Restavracija Vinoteka Gredič

Urska and Primoz, a couple that takes real pleasure in little things in life, good food, good wine, good art, being outdoors or just having a good time with their dog ( nowadays with their child as well).
Their main goal for a wedding party was to serve their guests with amazing food, have a great time and to have someone to help preserve those memories through photos and video. Karlo from Capture Pi took care of the video part and did an amazing job while I was in charge of the photo part. For me, it was a great honour to shoot this wedding since it was my first one outside of Croatian borders, my first wedding in Slovenija.

The day started early but it was slow paced, no hurry, just the way I like it. That allows my clients to get used to a camera being present and it gives me a better insight into who they really are as a couple, how they function when “nobody is watching”. That helps a lot during the day to get closer to them and their guest, to almost be like a part of the group, not just some random guy with a camera.

The ceremony itself was in a nice garden and they had a brass band playing the entrance song – that was something quite original and I loved it. It was short and packed with emotion, finished with a lot of hugs and kisses – maybe my favourite part of a wedding, or any wedding not that I mention it.

For the couples session we decided it’s best we don’t take a lot of time since weddings are, in my opinion, meant to be spent with your guests, the people you love and not with your photographer even if he’s an awesome guy like me 🙂 Since it was quite early and the sun was still super high, for the first part, we went to a little old church right next to the venue to find some shade and shoot amazing shots.
The second part happened a couple of hours later, close to sunset. We went to vineyard and there I just let them be themselves, to have some (almost) alone time to really soak in the fact that they got married a few hours ago <3

The dinner part was in lower part of the castle, literally below ground and it looked (and felt) amazing.
