I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about what to write for this forest wedding as I like to call it, but I’m just not that good with words to describe how impressed I was with this rustic, Pinterest inspired wedding. Ana (aka the amazing Bride) had it all covered. She took care of all the decorations, even borrowed a little pick-up to carry all that stuff around including that super cute chairs they sat on for a few photos. In the middle of the road.
Anyways, the first part of the day was in Kastav, a small super old town near Rijeka in Croatia. We did a short walk around the old part of the town, took a few photos here and there. During the summer in Kastav there is a festival Kastavsko kulturno leto so we had the stands and the stage at our disposal. The wedding ceremony was at Kastav Registers office which could barely fit all the quest. After the official part it was time to head on the the forest wedding. Short 15 minutes drive and we were there. Practically in the middle of nowhere. Amazing 🙂
Super pleasant and fun people, laid back atmosphere of a family picnic, bunch of handmade details, all perfectly incorporated in the environment of a beautiful hunting cabin near Lisac (small town near Croatian – Slovenian border). What more can a wedding photographer ask for?
